The world’s first café that takes exercise as payment has opened in London.  At the Run For Your Bun café, you don’t pay for your food – you do a six-minute workout for it instead!

 

It works like this, you choose a dish from the menu, place your order, get into your fitness gear and start working up an appetite by taking part in a quick course that includes, rowing, sit-ups, cyclin on a spin bike, bodyweight squats, bodyweight lunges and running on a treadmill.  Once that’s over, you get your free lunch to take away or eat in the café.  The idea is to encourage people, especially office workers, to get away from their desks at lunchtime and get more active.
